BAJAJ BOXER " A GOOD MILEAGE BIKE ".

Bajaj Boxer CT(India): I got this bike 6 years ago when i was in 11th std.Till date it hasn’t encountered any serious engine problem.I’m getting a mileage of around 65 kms/litre.As petrol is very costly in India Boxer CT proves to be very fuel efficient bike.At the time of purchase my father was insisting for Hero Honda CD100 but i found Boxer CT as more attractive and cheaper as compared to CD 100.In India Hero Honda brand in motorcycle segment is like Nokia in mobile phone.I don’t understand why people blindly rush for Hero Honda bikes when cheaper ones with excellent performance and good looks, like Boxer CT are available in market.I’m not saying that it is a perfect bike, but i believe that it is a value for money bike.It is a very good option for middle class families who are interested in low initial cost as well as low operating cost.Boxer CT has a good pickup and gives the biker a pleasurable experience. I would like to mention some of the problems that i faced in this long run of 6 years. The maintenance of this very less but the kick gets detached after every few months usage.

Heck, there i was lambasting kinetice for their combative naming strategy but what about bajaj auto with it boxer moniker ? boggles the mind but i have no time for it because there comes an undercut which aim is at the biker opposition jaw in the formof the ct followed by another one aim at the solar plexus inthe form of the ct delux and yet another expexted in the form .......

TESTER NOTES :- BAJAJ BOXER

They say try ,try and keep trying till you succed. bajaj auto had to keep on this vein for a long time but since the last two or three year the boxer is the class act in the econo - clast minifield. a good reason for among the trio of bike here in this slug fest she is stylish and packaged well ,unlike the other where style takes aback seat or is non -existent.

THE YAMAHA LIBERO G5 .

The Yamaha Libero G5 is a 106 cc, single cylinder 4 stroke motorcycle from Yamaha Motors India. Its predecessor was known as just Yamaha Libero. Unlike Libero G5, Libero had round head lights, and taco meter but lacked fuel gauge. However, Libero G5 came with a sporty head light and fuel gauge, but lacked the tachometer (RPM Meter). A new set of air scoops with a honeycomb grille do dual duty; directing airflow over the engine block and also neatly covering the gap between the engine and the fuel tank. The Yamaha G5 is a revamped version . The G5 comes with a broad, V-shaped headlamp reflector encased in clear-lens glass and a cowl that imparts a more aerodynamic feel to the bike. The headlamp houses a 35W halogen bulb and the twin-pod instrument cluster includes a circular speedometer, the fuel gauge and warning lights.

The Yamaha G5 is powered by a single cylinder, four-stroke, two-valve, air-cooled 106cc engine develops a peak power of 7.6 PS at 7,500 rpm and generates a maximum torque of 7.85 Nm at 6,000 rpm. An improved air induction system ensures a better breathing engine that burns fuel fully and so boosts performance and simultaneously reduces exhaust emissions.

The G5's frame continues to be the tubular dual cradle type and it uses the tubular swing arm though other bikes in the 100 cc segment feature box section swing arms for improved stability. A longer wheelbase than the competitors gives the bike a slight edge in the handling and stability parameters.

YAMAHA CRUX " A STYLISH BIKE ".

Here comes the review of the classical 100c segment bike – The Yamaha Crux. To sum it up, I am extremely satisfied with this bike. I can boldly say that this is the best bike in this category. The price of Crux comes around Rs.30,000 on-road.

The bike has the biggest engine in its category compared to the engines of Hero Honda CD Dawn and Bajaj Platina. The bike is smooth even at high speeds, thanks to Yamaha’s engineers!
Users have reported that there had not been any starting problem with the engine so far even in cold conditions. Yamaha Crux bike gives a mileage of 65kmpl in cities and up to 75 – 80 kmpl in highway riding conditions.

The new Crux S will be available at a price of Rs 33,152 (ex-showroom Delhi , the company said in a release.

"Crux S will provide our patrons a dependable bike option that makes an excellent value for money propositions," said H Yanagi, CEO and managing director, Yamaha Motor India.

Equipped with a 106 cc engine, the company has claimed a mileage of 91 km per litre under standard test conditions.

The quality of the seats and other parts are excellent. This bike is not advertised enough and it has not been considered as a choice by many people. Given its low price, I agree that Yamaha cannot spend huge amounts advertising Crux, but you need to look at this gem and should be definitely in the choice list if you want a bike with low cost, good mileage and descent looks.
